The Equi-Prene Belly (Body) Bandage is designed to be wrapped around the girth area of the horse's body in the saddle area, the closure fastening is underneath using Velcro. We recommend that the Body Bandage is locked into place using the side straps to secure to the girth, this way it will not slide around on the horse's body.• The Equi-Prene Belly Bandage has two important functions:
• it is designed to prevent rubbing of your horse's skin caused by friction of the rider's leg movement
• if sores are already present, the Belly Bandage allows the horse to be worked without further aggravating injury.
