Most memorable riding moment?

From riding on the farm as a child to winning the CDI at Dressage with the Stars with 00 Seven with just under 74%.

What would be your daily routine?

Horses in the morning, coaching in the afternoon, office work in the evening!

What would you say to inspire any young or old riders?

Don’t lose sight of why you ride.  It’s great to be competitive, it’s great to have ambition, but it’s even better to remember why you’re in the sport.  You need to work hard, work smart and love your horses.  While it’s great to be serious, it’s even better to enjoy it!

What type of services do you provide?

Elite dressage coaching and mentoring, sales and purchase support and frozen semen sales.

Goals for 2017:

Currently developing some exciting coaching ventures with a strong network of likeminded people and growing the “David Shoobridge” brand.  Also, very excited about bringing up some very talented young horses.

Why Trailrace?

It’s a family owned business with great integrity.  The service Trailrace provides is second to none in the country, and the Phillips family will always go above and beyond to ensure everyone is looked after and has the best available opportunity given to them.

Which product or products do you like most at Trailrace?

Everything!  The product selection at Trailrace covers all areas from economical products to the top of the line.  Of course, the Equipe Saddles, Cavalleria Toscana clothing, breeches, Mattes saddlecloths and girths, the Tucci boots and Kask helmets are amongst my favourites.  If I had to only choose one thing, it would be the Equipe Viktoria – I can’t live without it - lucky I don’t have to choose one!
