Grace Kay
Grace Kay is based in Windermere in the Hunter Valley. Grace started riding from a young age and won her first Young Rider state title at 8, National Young Rider title at 10 and is still the youngest member to have been on the NSW Young Rider Dressage squad.
Grace's smile is probably one of the best smiles known in the equestrian world, (you may have seen some excellent shots as captured by Stephen Mowbray Photography), but don't let that gorgeous smile fool you, as Grace is an extremely hard worker, absolutely dedicated and totally passionate about riding!
In 2012, Grace was named the ENSW Young Athlete of the Year Award for Dressage.
Grace has successfully produced two of her own horses through to FEI level for both Dressage and Eventing.
Grace has worked and trained internationally with some quality coaches, including Stefan Wolff, as well as having a great foundation of dressage training with Miguel Tavora and eventing training with Andrew Barnett in Australia.
Grace won the CCI1* at the Melbourne 3DE in 2017.
In 2018, Grace then moved up to win the CCI2* at Wallaby Hill International 3DE and the CIC2* at Lynton, Goulburn.
Grace is a versatile equestrian, competing regularly, consistently and successfully in Eventing, Showing, Show Jumping and Dressage and also provides training and coaching clinics. She's even given us a great blog about training simple changes with cavalletti.
Trailrace Saddlery are super proud to have known Grace from a young age and continue to be involved and support her in all of her equestrian pursuits.
