This cheekpiece is a combination of a hackamore and a bit. The hackamore combination is a cheekpiece with leverage and gives pressure on the nose, chin and mouth. The longer the shanks of the hackamore the stronger the effect. This combination with short shanks has a milder effect than the hackamore combi long. These bits are often used with very enthusiastic horses in the ring. This bit is not suited for inexperienced riders.
