Pharmachem Strong 10% Iodine Solution is an antiseptic which is nonirritating , nontoxic and nonstaining. It is a broad spectrum antimicrobial agent. The iodine acts by diffusing into bacterial cells and killing them. Iodine is virucidal and antifungal with bacterial spores being killed in 15 minutes.
