Does your horse need a bit more space at the chest? Our Chest Expander will make sure every rug fits perfectly. Our Chest Expander is universal and fits rugs with the same type of closure (such as the Horseware Amigo rug).

The Chest Expander is perfect for horses with a wide chest area or larger horse breeds such as the Quarter Horse.

Fabrics & materials
The outside of the Chest expander Waterproof 2 buckles is waterproof and very resistant to tearing. The inside of the Chest Expander is made out of our well-known artificial Sheepskin, that is also used for our famous Sheepskin Shipping Halter. This makes it extremely soft to the touch.

The Chest Expander gives extra protection in the chest area.

Besides the buckle, there is also a hook and loop closure to make sure the chest expander stays in place.

Care guide
Most of our products are machine washable at 30 degrees. However, we recommend washing it as infrequently as possible and using our protective washing bags in order to maintain quality over the long term. We also recommend using professional machines (larger capacity) to limit damage due to the drum of the normal washing machine. To dry it, simply put it outside on a sunny day. The dryer is not recommended.
