Bombers Classic Dee Pony Snaffle Ultra Comfy Lock up

The Ultra Comfy Lock Up has been designed to suit sensitive mouthed horses. The shape is such that it follows the contour of the horse’s tongue. The centre joint has been double locked to ensure that the angle over the tongue remains correct, even when the reins are taken up, but it retains the individual lateral aids.

The Ultra comfy has a generous curve, to follow the shape of the horse’s mouth. We have found that the need for softer and softer bits has been growing, as breeding has been producing finer and more sensitive horses.

The Ultra Comfy Loose Ring Snaffle is FEI Approved

The Dee Ring is very similar in action to the Eggbutt, it will prevent pinching of the lips and gives a slightly more solid feel against the side of the face. It also prevents the bit being pulled through the mouth. The release is slower and some slight poll pressure is introduced.

The Pony Dee is smaller than the classic Dee - 68mm high by 68mm wide.

Bomber bits are made from blue sweet iron which oxidises easily to encourages salivation helps bit acceptance is warm and sweet.

Please note that due to the oxidisation the blue will fade with use.
