Bombers Blue Bridoon Elliptical
The Loose Ring allows for immediate release and relief from tongue and bar pressure.
The bit is immediately reset to a neutral position in the horse's mouth. The Elliptical is a 45 mm lozenge, it is stronger than the Control Plate due to it having a smaller surface area but softer than the straight Elliptical. Consequently, a horse using his tongue as a means of pushing against the bit and therefore taking control, will draw back and tuck his chin in, coming back to a better point of control. The Bradoon cheekpiece is smaller than the standard loose ring.
All Bomber bits are made from blue sweet iron, because it oxidises easily, encourages salivation, helps bit acceptance and is warm and sweet. *Please note that due to the oxidisation the blue will fade with use.
