A ring cheek piece introduces poll pressure as well as creating leverage on the mouthpiece, the 2 1/2 Ring version is the softest out of the 3 or 4 ring alternatives as the 1/2 ring softens the leverage on the mouthpiece and poll.
The Elliptical Dressage is shorter, increasing tongue and bar pressure. The mouth pieces are curved to soften the bar pressure. The mouth pieces and lozenge are ground flat to distribute the pressure evenly over tongue and bars, which together with the offset links further reduce pressure points. Allowing for a more accepted contact, relaxing and extending the nose slightly.
Bomber bits are made from blue sweet iron which oxidises easily to encourages salivation helps bit acceptance is warm and sweet.
Please note that due to the oxidisation the blue will fade with use.
