Trailrace are extremely proud to be supporting the journey and partnership between Alexis and the chestnut stallion "Bluefields Floreno" (owned by JJ & Lys Fuchs) on their WEG adventure!
In a very short period of time, they've consistently performed on home soil at a select few major competitions to qualify for the World Equestrian Games (WEG) at Tryon, USA in September 2018.
This is not just an amazing achievement for any Australian based dressage rider, but at only 29 yrs of age, Alexis is also the youngest rider on the team.
Having ridden horses since the age of 7, Alexis became more interested in dressage at 13. At 22, she trained a young horse Waca (by Weltmeyer) and produced him to successfully compete at Grand Prix.
Alexis was offered the ride on Bluefields Floreno and they have consistently achieved scores over 65% at Grand Prix and with a top score of 73.950% in the GP Freestyle at the Brisbane CDI in July 2018.
They are now at WEG and we are so keen to watch this combination and all the Australian Dressage team with their results. Good luck to all!
We're delighted to outfit Alexis with an Equipe Olympia Saddle & Equipe bridles, as well as wearing Cavalleria Toscana clothing (jackets, breeches, shirts), KASK equestrian helmets, Tucci Italian Riding Boots and Mattes saddle pads.
